Traveling to the Okavango Delta by plane offers significant time savings and optimal comfort. The flight allows you to admire spectacular views of the channels, islets and wildlife, offering a first immersion in this unique ecosystem. The plane also provides access to isolated camps, inaccessible by road, for a more exclusive experience in the heart of the delta.
During your stay, go on safari by 4x4 vehicle, by boat or by mokoro, the traditional Botswana watercraft, to explore the different landscapes of the delta. Depending on the season, you may observe elephants, hippopotamuses, crocodiles, lions, leopards, buffalo and a wide variety of birds in their natural habitat.
This itinerary allows you to discover one of Africa's largest wetland areas, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, while enjoying accommodations integrated into their environment and activities led by experienced guides.

Maun / The Moremi Reserve
Maun → Moremi Game Reserve
Arrival at Maun airport by 2:00 PM at the latest. Welcome by your local representative, then departure by charter flight to the Moremi region. Upon arrival, English-speaking transfer to your lodge, nestled in the heart of the private reserve.
Depending on your arrival time at the lodge, you may enjoy a first safari organized by the lodge team (non-private service). This activity takes place on the lodge's private concession and will allow you to observe the iconic wildlife of the delta — elephants, antelopes, and sometimes even predators — in the golden light of the African sunset. An aperitif by the roadside or in the heart of the savanna may conclude this first immersion before returning to the lodge for dinner.
On the Moremi Reserve
Breakfast at the lodge, then a full day dedicated to discovering the region through two included activities, organized by the lodge (not private):
Guided walks: accompanied by an experienced guide, you explore the bush on foot, observing animal tracks, medicinal plants and discovering the subtle balances of the ecosystem.
Mokoro excursion in the afternoon: board a traditional canoe gliding silently over the lagoons and channels of the delta, close to aquatic birds and water lilies.
Guided safari (morning or afternoon): set out in a 4x4 vehicle in search of large predators, elephant herds and antelopes, in changing landscapes between savanna and riparian forests.
Moremi Reserve is one of the jewels of the Okavango Delta, renowned for its varied landscapes and exceptional wildlife. Between shimmering lagoons, lush forests and vast plains, it offers privileged sightings of elephants, felines, antelopes and birds. Safaris there are among the richest in southern Africa, with often spectacular scenes of wildlife, particularly at sunrise and sunset, when the light enhances the colors of the savanna.
Moremi Reserve / South of the Okavango Delta
Moremi Game Reserve → Okavango Delta
Breakfast at the lodge, then English-speaking shared transfer to the airstrip for your charter flight to the southeast of the Okavango Delta. During the flight, admire the spectacular aerial views of the delta's meanders, its sparkling lagoons and its lush islets.
Upon arrival, transfer to your lodge, located in the heart of a private concession offering an intimate and privileged setting. After check-in and a moment of relaxation, you will depart in the afternoon for a guided safari (shared) on the lodge's concession.
This sunset safari will allow you to observe wildlife in a unique golden light: elephants crossing the plains, giraffes standing out against the horizon, and perhaps even the great predators in search of a hunt. An aperitif served in the heart of the bush may punctuate this first immersion, before returning to the lodge for dinner.
Okavango Delta
Breakfast at the lodge, then a full day dedicated to discovering the region, with 2 or 3 activities included depending on the duration of the options chosen. All activities are organized by the lodge and are not private:
Guided walks: accompanied by a local guide, you explore the bush on foot, observing the tracks left by animals, discovering medicinal plants and learning the secrets of survival in this unique environment.
Mokoro excursion in the afternoon: glide silently over the lagoons and channels of the delta aboard a traditional canoe, among water lilies and reeds, observing aquatic birds and sometimes hippopotamuses.

The Okavango desert, located on the edge of the famous delta, offers a striking landscape where dunes, arid savannas and dried valleys contrast with neighboring wetlands. This semi-desert region is home to wildlife perfectly adapted to extreme conditions: elephants traveling long distances to find water, graceful oryx and springboks roaming the plains, as well as a great diversity of birds, including some migratory species.

Lunch is on your own, to be arranged according to your flight schedules and preferences, before your international departure.

Passeport
Pour entrer en Namibie, votre passeport doit être valide au minimum six mois après la date d'entrée dans le pays et comporter au moins deux à trois pages vierges pour les tampons d'immigration.
Le document doit être en bon état (pas de pages détériorées, déchirées ou modifiées).
Séjour touristique sans visa
Les ressortissants de l'Espace économique européen, de la Suisse et du Canada bénéficient d'une exemption de visa pour les séjours touristiques en Namibie.
Cette exemption permet un séjour pouvant aller jusqu'à 90 jours par période de 12 mois. La durée de séjour autorisée est précisée par l'agent d'immigration à l'entrée sur le territoire.
Les autorités peuvent demander :
un billet de sortie du territoire (vol retour ou continuation),
une preuve de ressources financières suffisantes pour la durée du séjour,
la confirmation d'une réservation d'hébergement ou un itinéraire de voyage.
Carte d'arrivée
À l'arrivée en Namibie, il vous sera demandé de remplir un formulaire d'entrée sur le territoire (carte d'arrivée) remis généralement dans l'avion ou disponible aux postes frontières et dans les aéroports internationaux.
Ce formulaire requiert notamment :
les informations du passeport,
les détails du vol ou du moyen de transport emprunté,
l'adresse du premier hébergement en Namibie,
la durée prévue du séjour.
Santé et vaccinations
Aucun vaccin n'est obligatoire pour entrer en Namibie sauf en provenance d'un pays à risque de fièvre jaune, auquel cas un certificat international de vaccination contre la fièvre jaune est exigé.
À titre préventif, il est recommandé de consulter un médecin ou un centre de vaccination avant le départ. Les vaccinations suivantes sont généralement conseillées :
hépatites A et B,
typhoïde,
tétanos-diphtérie-poliomyélite.
La prophylaxie antipaludéenne est fortement recommandée pour les voyages dans le nord du pays, notamment dans les régions du Caprivi (Zambèze), du Kavango et d'Etosha. Consultez votre médecin pour un traitement adapté à votre situation.
Voyage avec des enfants
Les mineurs doivent être titulaires de leur propre passeport valide couvrant la durée du séjour.
La Namibie applique des règles strictes concernant les voyages de mineurs. Lorsqu'un enfant voyage avec un seul parent ou sans ses parents, il est fortement recommandé de se munir :
d'une autorisation de voyage signée par l'autre parent ou par les deux parents en cas de voyage avec un tiers,
de l'acte de naissance original de l'enfant,
des justificatifs de la situation familiale le cas échéant (jugement de garde, acte de décès, etc.).

Les conditions d'entrée peuvent varier selon la nationalité. Les voyageurs concernés doivent se renseigner auprès de l'ambassade ou du consulat de Namibie de leur pays de résidence.
