You might find the distance and time spent on the roads long, however, with varied itineraries and changing panoramas, each journey is part of the experience. Passeport

Pour entrer en Namibie, votre passeport doit être valide au minimum six mois après la date d'entrée dans le pays et comporter au moins deux à trois pages vierges pour les tampons d'immigration.
Le document doit être en bon état (pas de pages détériorées, déchirées ou modifiées).

Séjour touristique sans visa

Les ressortissants de l'Espace économique européen, de la Suisse et du Canada bénéficient d'une exemption de visa pour les séjours touristiques en Namibie.

Cette exemption permet un séjour pouvant aller jusqu'à 90 jours par période de 12 mois. La durée de séjour autorisée est précisée par l'agent d'immigration à l'entrée sur le territoire.

Les autorités peuvent demander :

  • un billet de sortie du territoire (vol retour ou continuation),

  • une preuve de ressources financières suffisantes pour la durée du séjour,

  • la confirmation d'une réservation d'hébergement ou un itinéraire de voyage.

Carte d'arrivée

À l'arrivée en Namibie, il vous sera demandé de remplir un formulaire d'entrée sur le territoire (carte d'arrivée) remis généralement dans l'avion ou disponible aux postes frontières et dans les aéroports internationaux.

Ce formulaire requiert notamment :

  • les informations du passeport,

  • les détails du vol ou du moyen de transport emprunté,

  • l'adresse du premier hébergement en Namibie,

  • la durée prévue du séjour.

Santé et vaccinations

Aucun vaccin n'est obligatoire pour entrer en Namibie sauf en provenance d'un pays à risque de fièvre jaune, auquel cas un certificat international de vaccination contre la fièvre jaune est exigé.

À titre préventif, il est recommandé de consulter un médecin ou un centre de vaccination avant le départ. Les vaccinations suivantes sont généralement conseillées :

  • hépatites A et B,

  • typhoïde,

  • tétanos-diphtérie-poliomyélite.

La prophylaxie antipaludéenne est fortement recommandée pour les voyages dans le nord du pays, notamment dans les régions du Caprivi (Zambèze), du Kavango et d'Etosha. Consultez votre médecin pour un traitement adapté à votre situation.

Voyage avec des enfants

Les mineurs doivent être titulaires de leur propre passeport valide couvrant la durée du séjour.

La Namibie applique des règles strictes concernant les voyages de mineurs. Lorsqu'un enfant voyage avec un seul parent ou sans ses parents, il est fortement recommandé de se munir :

  • d'une autorisation de voyage signée par l'autre parent ou par les deux parents en cas de voyage avec un tiers,

  • de l'acte de naissance original de l'enfant,

  • des justificatifs de la situation familiale le cas échéant (jugement de garde, acte de décès, etc.).

Les conditions d'entrée peuvent varier selon la nationalité. Les voyageurs concernés doivent se renseigner auprès de l'ambassade ou du consulat de Namibie de leur pays de résidence.
