Namibia Self-Drive — Luxury

Arrival at Windhoek international airport. English-speaking welcome at the rental car office by the local guide who will assist you in obtaining a vehicle from the rental company and provide you with your travel documents. Drive to the city of Windhoek, arrival and check-in.

In the morning, departure with the lodge's guide and vehicle for a guided, non-private excursion to the Sossusvlei dunes.

The Namib Desert and the Sossusvlei region offer some of the most iconic landscapes in Namibie. Its immense red dunes, among the highest in the world, create spectacular plays of light at sunrise. Must-see sites such as Dead Vlei, Dune 45, Big Daddy and Sesriem canyon reveal the striking beauty of this ancient desert. Despite its aridity, the area is home to adapted wildlife, including oryx, springbok and ostrich. The nights there are exceptionally clear, ideal for stargazing.

Return to the lodge in late afternoon. This activity is included only for a 3-night stay.

Route towards the coastal city of Swakopmund, crossing the lunar landscapes of the Namib desert and vast gravel plains. Arrival in this charming seaside town with Germanic touches, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and surrounded by golden dunes. Check-in at your hotel, ideally located to enjoy the sea breeze and seaside walks.

Free time to explore the surroundings: stroll along the jetty, admire colonial architecture, discover artisan markets or simply savor the relaxed atmosphere of the town.

Departure for a boat excursion, experience unforgettable encounters with Namibie's marine wildlife. Besides seals and rescued pelicans that often join passengers, you may observe dolphins and whales during this 3 hour 30 minute cruise. In the afternoon, 4x4 excursion to Sandwich Harbour. This is a 4x4 excursion that crosses the salt pans and enters the Namib-Naukluft park, "where the ocean and desert meet". Our last stop is Sandwich Harbour lagoon. This thrilling excursion will allow you to experience an unforgettable moment: our guides will demonstrate their expertise by climbing immense dunes. Light lunch in the form of brunch in the dunes

Swakopmund is an elegant coastal town nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and desert dunes. Its German-influenced architecture, cool climate and relaxed atmosphere make it an unmissable stop. The town is a true activity hub: boat outings to observe dolphins and sea lions, sandboarding, quad biking in the dunes, kayaking and panoramic flights over the Skeleton Coast. Cafés, craft markets and excellent restaurants complete the experience. Swakopmund is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy a unique blend of culture, ocean and adventure.

Breakfast, then drive to the wild region of Damaraland. Along the way, optional opportunity with supplement to visit the Twyfelfontein site, famous for its ancient rock engravings (entrance to be paid on site). Continuation to your lodge, located in the heart of a spectacular landscape of red mountains and arid valleys. Arrival and check-in to your room, offering breathtaking views of the mineral landscapes. Depending on your time of arrival, you may be able to participate in an activity included by the lodge, usually an outing at the end of the day to admire the sunset over the private reserve. Enjoy this magical moment when the rocks light up in golden and purple hues, before returning to the lodge for a peaceful evening under the starry sky.

This morning, you have an excursion to search for desert elephants adopted in the Huab River with the lodge guide and vehicle. In the afternoon, departure for a guided and non-private excursion on the lodge's private reserve at sunset.

The Damaraland is a wild and spectacular region in northwest Namibie, known for its mountainous landscapes, arid valleys and unique rock formations. Between red plateaus, dried river beds and vast desert expanses, this area is home to emblematic wildlife such as desert elephants, black rhinoceroses and Hartmann's zebras. Damaraland is also rich in cultural heritage, with remarkable sites such as Twyfelfontein, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its thousands of rock engravings

Breakfast, then drive towards the majestic Etosha National Park. Along the way, you cross varied landscapes, ranging from arid plains to savannas dotted with acacias, already offering a glimpse of the natural wealth of Namibia. Arrival at the lodge located near one of the park entrances and check-in to your room, often decorated in a warm African style with views of the bush. The afternoon is free to enjoy the lodge surroundings: relax by the pool, observe animals coming to drink at the nearby watering hole, or simply immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of the savanna. As dusk falls, let yourself be captivated by the sounds of nature and the starry sky, a prelude to your upcoming safari days.

Breakfast, then departure for a guided safari in shared vehicle service in the Etosha National Park. You will be accompanied by the lodge guide and vehicle to explore this vast reserve, one of the largest in southern Africa.

The park is famous for its vast salt depression, the Etosha Pan, visible from space, and for its rich wildlife. You will have the opportunity to observe majestic elephants, lions hunting, rare black rhinoceroses, elegant giraffes, striped zebras and large herds of antelope. The water points, scattered throughout the park, attract animals throughout the day and offer spectacular scenes, particularly at sunset.

Etosha is an essential stop to experience one of the best safaris in Namibie, where each outing holds unforgettable encounters. The afternoon is free to enjoy the surroundings of the lodge: relaxation, wildlife observation at the edges, or simply savour the unique atmosphere of the savanna.

Breakfast, then drive south towards Otjiwarongo. Along the way, you travel through savanna and hill landscapes, where you occasionally spot traditional farms and Namibian villages.

Breakfast, then departure towards the city of Windhoek. On the way, passage through Okahandja, a small town renowned for its craft markets and wooden sculptures, where you can stop to discover local craftsmanship.

Continuation towards Windhoek, dynamic capital of Namibia, surrounded by hills and savanna. Arrival and transfer to Windhoek international airport for your departure flight, scheduled from 2:00 PM. This stage marks the end of your tour, with a last glimpse of Namibian landscapes before taking your return flight.
